Over the last twenty years, our team at Chango has been lucky enough to play with
a diverse range of highly talented musicians, through musical adventures in Spain,
South America and the UK. This has given us a multitude of influences ranging from
Flamenco and Latin to funk, folk and blues, to name but a few. Alongside our experiences
in live music and improvisation, sits a solid knowledge-base of modern music technology
and its varied genres. This is underpinned with qualifications from such places
as Confetti School of Recording, Nottingham, De Montfort University Leicester and
years of involvement in the dance and hip-hop scene.
What makes the Chango collective a truly contemporary force is our skill with traditional
instruments and our ability to blend them with the eclectic sounds of state of the
art electronica. In the footsteps of major inspirations such as Thomas Newman, David
Arnold and Ry Cooder, our aim at Chango Music Design is to create music that is
alive, innovative and truly unique. May the music speak for itself.
