Exciting work at present with EMIs new label "Sparkle and Burn". Been doing some remixes for them of late and just about to start on a magical/ Harry Potteresque album with them. Will be using lots of interesting new equipment to get that magical feel in there. Up front will be Spitfire Audio new library Albion which has some great sounds.

About to start a project with a South African dance troupe called Mamelodi who will be coming over to record and perform as part of the cultural Olympiad. Our involvement will be mainly helping to create the score and working with the choreographers to create a cohesive and exciting piece. Heading down to the famed 'Sawmills' recording studio in Cornwall in a couple of weeks to start recording there. You can only get there by boat as it's in a secluded inlet... How cool is that!

As a member of the Screened Music Network, I get great value from the masterclasses with eminent composers, orchestrators and sound designers. Tomorrow off to see Michael Price, scorer of some of the recent Sherlock episodes. Also great opportunity to meet and hang out with some of the UK's finest composers.
